About Gunther
I design & build custom furniture for my clients. As a graduate of the prestigious School of American Crafts, I had the opportunity to study and work with some of America's top wood workers such as Wendell Castle, Scott Grove, Andy Buck and Rich Tanen. My portfolio is filled with handcrafted designed & built pieces that bring beauty and functionality to my clients homes, offices and living spaces.
The process begins with a true understanding of what my clients need, want and desire. This exploration of the home, office or living space environment is so important as I begin to not only design the furniture but also select the wood, the hardware and finishes. I enjoy this exploration since it creates an opportunity for me to truly design & build an outstanding piece that brings joy to my clients and their friends & family.
With work space in both New York and Miami, I am able to keep my creative process fresh and full of energy.
